Rise & Shine 2013 - The Next Mega Event

I have not been to Rise & Shine event so I can't comment on how fantastic it is. But it seems to be quite a mega exhibition judging from the marketing materials. Interesting to see a facial salon participating in a Kid's exhibition. Anyway, I was comtemplating to try Porcelain Face Spa. Shall check it out when I am there.

I hope I can be the 1st 100 to receive a mystery gift but I doubt I can there so early. However I will try. *Try harder MommyChloe….Yawnzzzz* I might also stock up baby wipes, that is if they are cheaper than NTUC.

Since it is free, let's go for a bone check and see how much calcium is left on us.

MOTHERCARE is having the crazy weekend offers, @ Parkway Parade only. Doubt we will head down for this. We had spent a bomb the other time. Happy Shopping!

Trio-ly Thrilled with Enfa

As usual I was at NTUC supermarket after dropping of Jewel in school and suddenly my eyes were alive with enthusiasm!

Hardly Enfa milk powder is on discount, furthermore 3 stages at one go! Better stock up now. Though it is cheaper than the usual by a dollar, to me, it is still cheaper. Probably many parents may rebuke that our neighboring country sells it even cheaper. Yes you are right but we find it troublesome to drive in    for the purchase. 

We have chosen enfa for the kids as Hub said that it has the highest DHA content. Needless to say, the price is also one of the highest, the most expensive. 

For me I like enfa because it doesn't create bubbles after shaking it. We have tried not all, but most of the brands in the market and Enfa has proved itself. Kids are fine with Enfa too, no constipation, no tummyache and not much phlegm.

Celebrating National Day with MOTHERCARE

I wanted only to buy sleep suits at MOTHERCARE as we have 30% off for Ian's birthday month. And we saw this!

Hub asked me to check with the store assistant how does it works. It is a straight 50% off for all the 30% discounted products. OMG! We went crazy. No no, I was calm but it wasn't for Hub. Look at him.

Hub: "Alright, I give you a budget of $200."

Mommy: " Huh? For what thing?"

Hub: " To buy the kids' stuff"

Mommy: "What??!! I thought you wanted to say $200 for you to buy your things!"

Disappointed lor. Hahaha. Anyway, just a joke. We bought like $202 worth of clothes. Rarely MOTHERCARE has such great mark down. The best discount they can offer is during your kid's birthday month and that is if you are a MOTHERCARE member. We like MOTHERCARE's clothings as their material is very soft, making it comfortable for the kids to wear. Especially the sleep suits, personally I feel that Mommy to be can consider buying them for your newborns. 

For those who do not patronise at MOTHERCARE often, they specialize in newborn, babies and toddlers products. I can say that it provides a one stop for parents and Mommy to be. I have been shopping at MOTHERCARE for the past 4 years, the quality of their products and the customer service never fails me.

Taka Baby Fair 1 Aug 2013 - 11 Aug 2013

This is the sale that I always look out for every year. Things are really on good deals and discounts. As usual, I am going to trade in Jewel's old/used milk bottles for Pigeon Bottles! Save money and protects the environment. Mommies-to-Be can look out for baby cot, stroller, breast pump and baby car seat. Those items can be of huge mark down. Free delivery for purchase $150 and above. First time parents sure go beyond that. Well, at least it did for me.

I wouldn't buy diapers there as I find that the best discount I can get is from NTUC and Cold Storage. Both kids are using Drypers by the way. 

If possible, try not to go down on weekends. The crowd is too much to handle and with a big bump in front, it is a tad inconvenient  for preggies to move around. Happy Shopping and see you there!
